What makes the perfect crime?

The perfect crime, Dr. Wecht believes, is more possible through the ineptitude, lack of training and lack of experience by investigators. Speaking before students and faculty at Washington & Jefferson College, Dr. Wecht said the inexperience of the police force and district attorney in Boulder, Colo., for example, was a hindrance to the JonBenét Ramsey investigation.

The fact nobody has been charged makes it a perfect crime, Dr. Wecht said.
